In order to strengthen the strategic cooperation between HGT and European turbo-machinery manufacturer and EPC companies, and jointly expand business at home and abroad, the company's deputy General manager Zhao Weidong led the team visited Calik Enerji, TECNICAS REUNIDAS, AMEC FOSTER WHEELER and Tecnimont, Saipem, Franco Tosi Meccanica and Wood Engineering from May 29 to June 5, 2024.
NO.1 Calik Enerji
Calik Enerji is Founded in 1998 and involved in EPC power generation, power and gas distribution, retail power sales and other areas, with its main business concentrated in the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa. In 2015, Calik Enerji established a strategic and equity partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation.
During this business meeting, the two sides respectively introduced the development achievements of the company in the past few years. The purchasing director expressed his thanks to the technical business support provided by the HGT in its bidding project, and congratulated the two sides on achieving the first cooperation in 2023,become its stable auxiliary equipment supplier in the Asia-Pacific region.
NO.2 TECNICAS REUNIDAS
Tecnicas Reunidas (TR) was founded in 1960, ranked 22nd in the ENR International Contractor 250 in 2023, and has long been a leader in engineering and construction in the energy sector in Spain. Its design and construction projects mainly include refining, petrochemical, crude oil, natural gas, energy and infrastructure sectors, with operations around the world.
HGT had indirect cooperation with TR on Project One in Belgium in 2022, and the products have passed acceptance. The TR purchasing director thanked the HGT for our technical and commercial support on the bidding project, and hoped that the HGT could complete the supplier registration in the first half of this year, and achieve direct cooperation as soon as possible.
NO.3 AMEC FOSTER WHEELER
AMEC FOSTER WHEELER met HGT in 2020 for the JFE biomass power project in Japan, and signed the first condenser project with Wood in 2023 (Dominican Project). The chief engineer of AMEC Foster Wheeler thanked the HGT team for our full support,they hope to receive stable support in subsequent projects, and express their willingness to provide technical guidance and support in new areas of business, hoping that the company will become a stable supplier in the Asia-Pacific region and make new breakthroughs in the contract amount in the future.
NO.4 Tecnimont
Founded in 1939, Tecnimont is a leading global engineering, construction and technology consulting firm with operations in 45 countries and providing integrated engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services in the oil, gas, chemical, mining and infrastructure sectors. 2023 ENR "World's Top 250 International Contractors" ranked 37th.
HGT worked indirectly with Tecnimont in 2014, and the visit deepened the understanding of each other's business and company philosophy, the Tecnimont team said: "With the development of Tecnimont's business, there is a great need for high-quality suppliers like HGT. We welcome HGT to join our supplier system and look forward to an early direct cooperation."
NO.5 Saipem
Saipem is the world's leading engineering and construction company for large-scale projects in the energy & infrastructure sector, with 7 manufacturing plants and an offshore fleet formed by 21 construction vessels and 15 drilling platforms, operating in more than 50 countries and regions, and employing approximately 30,000 people.
HGT has undertaken a number of overseas FPSO offshore projects in 2023, and has rich experience in classification society certified projects, Saipem's supply chain director said: "Saipem's business scope includes offshore and on-road projects. Currently, Hangqi Auxiliary not only has rich experience in onshore projects, but also has the ability to participate in offshore projects. We look forward to cooperating with HGT in the near future."
NO.6 FrancoTosi S.p.A.
Founded in 1881, FrancoTosi is an Italian steam turbine company with a history of 150 years, and its first Tosi engine and steam engine can be traced back to 1877 and 1881 respectively, and has achieved a certain position in the domestic and international markets.
Franco Tosi established the first communication with HGT in April 2024, both companies have a deeper understanding of each other through this visit. Purchasing Director of FrancoTosi said: "HGT and FrancoTosi, both have significant market position, excellent product quality, I believe that the future cooperation will be very successfully."
NO.7 Wood
Wood is one of the world's leading consulting and engineering firms, primarily responsible for the petrochemical business.
During the meeting, the two sides made a relevant introduction of the company's general situation, and its supply chain director had a preliminary understanding of the design and manufacturing capabilities of related products of the HGT
company, and expressed his willingness to add our heat exchanger products to his supply chain, hoping that the two sides would cooperate with each other to complete the supplier qualification registration of system. The team hopes that HGT company can provide support on the new inquiry, and actively respond to lay the foundation for the realization of the initial cooperation.
HGT will seize the opportunity of this in-depth communication continue to implement the 14th Five-Year Plan, open up the road to internationalization, and help the development of overseas markets.
